I was so weary of everything. I supposed that there’d be so many food stalls of martabak & bakmi bangka (which i adore so much), but pity me, i saw nothing
so where do those foods come from???
the only thing here which was sporadically spread is the “klenteng”, something similar to a temple; some of them have past over so many decades.

carry on our journey, finally!! we’re down for the first beach! Named pasir padi beach yeay!

the view is not yet a satisfactory, but I’m pretty indulged by the wind blowing gently to me. At a glance, it looked like a private beach. At that time, me and my family were apparently the only visitors there. No souvenir merchants, no kids building sand castles, It’s just us! It’s a really broad sandy beach, probably around half kilos from the main street ’till the sea shore. We’re there at noon, so the water was still calm with nice little waves which were so relaxing, but really, you’ll get bored staying there for more than 30 mins..
Then we get to another beach which was quite close to Pasir Padi, and stop by in a seafood restaurant. The seafoods here aren’t as expensive as they are in my hometown. Bangka’s got so plenty of fish and other fishy stuffs, but according to me, foods in Jakarta are way better
After that we’re proceeding to our next pit stop; our hotel. I just couldn’t hold my eyelids to open any longer. The journey was just awfully exhausting but not that fascinating. I was that so close to my ‘dreamland’ when suddenly reflection of sunshine on the sea distract the serenity of mine. My half-closed eyes just couldn’t stand of it and I began to look out to the window. I thought i just saw a great scenery; a beach with big corals and bright color of water.
The car stopped in front of a lobby of a hotel. I saw a massive plate which has a text “Parai beach” written on it. I just couldn’t wait to get out of the car, take my very first fresh breath, and observe meticulously on the place I’ve just been mesmerized by. I took my feet to explore every inches of the sea shore, and finally i could speak to myself : “Yes, this is the one!”
I could tell that this place would be even more sophisticated when the sun set. It was around 4 PM when i arrived. I laid down my body for a while and packed every single things that i would need.
Late in the afternoon, I took a look at the window and I clearly saw that the sky started to turn reddish; that’s when i knew that it’s a perfect timing to go hunting some photos. My sister came along with me as a voluntary model. Thanks to her that i’ve got some good pictures (you can see it on my portfolio on the next post, don’t forget to leave comments
)
This beach’s so perfect for a newbie like me. There were also numerous pro-photographer holding their slr cameras equipped with tripods and tele-lens which made me so envy.
The blend of colors of the sky, white sand, growing palm trees, small huts next to the beach, a bridge which connects the beach with a cafe built on a huge corals in the middle of the sea, and everything seemed so perfectly matched.
Later on the afternoon, the sunset was another eye-spoiling phenomenon. We’re amazed by how the sun painted all the things into magenta and brought an exquisite silhouette in front of my eyes. I could see it vividly going under and left its spark of beauty for this special moment. I was lucky to witness it.

The next day, at the same time, i came back for more sunset glow, but i found it cloudy instead. Hmm, it’s true that great chance never come twice
